Effective Child Abuse Law Reform
Effective Law Reform is
the publishing of all Court Documents on the Internet so that interested
people may scrutinize the conduct of the judges, lawyers and other court
officers. The objective is to have fair trials.
The problem is that the
names of the children and the witnesses should not be published. Also, the accused is not always
guilty, so publishing the name of the accused may not be fair.
The Solution
All people who become
involved in Court Matters may have one only Registered Court Name (along the
lines of an email address).
If a person
is involved in more than one court matter the allocated Registered Court Name
must always be used.
The Benefits
Victims, witnesses and
innocent people may remain anonymous if they so choose.
Criminals may
be tracked on computers to other Court Matters, but they do not have the
‘glory’ of personal notoriety in their own name.
Conclusion
With public scrutiny
possible via the Internet, there would be more fair trials and fewer
distortions by the few bad legal people.
