I value the
freedom to hold diverse and diverging opinions no matter how unpalatable they
may be to others who disagree with me. I value freedom of speech and the
freedom to be able to login anywhere in the world and listen to the opinions of
others. I have found Google a democratic tool to listen to the other voices of
the world. I hope it will never be able to be blocked by those who wish only
their own views to be heard and who wish to squash dissent. Thank you Google

Thanks for the contact.
I haven't visited
your sites yet, but intend to soon.
I am
interested to hear your views on 'money' and the 'law' - probably not
boring subjects if you enter into them philosophically.
I agree with much
of what Marx says about money, but in these global rational economy days you
get branded as old fashioned the chardonay left, or just plain boring, if
you sound even remotely socialist or say wish wealth could be more
equitably distributed.
Here is an
anti-Iraq-war poem. This one is somewhere in cyber space on a 'peace/anti-war
site set up by Coral Hull (a fellow poet living in Darwin) she has
a cluster of sites beginning at < www.thylazine.org > from there you can
link to her poet's directory / poet's nursery / & thylazine magazine.
She has put my
full working biography and photo in the poet's directory - but I haven't
looked at the poet's nursery yet - a photo should be there of my
mother and me as a baby.

'debit tax' - tax the movement of money. A few people know and talk about
it, but just mostly get ignored. Funny thing how
politicians don't want to have anything to do with it. It's so simple -
so easy - doesn't stop capitalists from making money - and really would give
everyone a fair go. Must be off

this Sunday at Montsavat Eltham - all the poets gather there once a year

Dear John I have
read your incredible saga - your long efforts
to receive justice. I do hope you
manage to find the money to take this to
Europe's Human Rights Court. Alas I am a poor poet
and cannot help financially - as well I
have no talent whatever re business/law. Can only think of
attention grabbing things like - a group of young
artists to devise various artistic ways your plight could
be brought to broad public notice. and to embarrass
those concerned. The way activists
portray theatrically their various stances anti-war - anti-Global-Economy
- anti -The Military Industrial Complex - nuclear weapons
etc. * To find a
popular singer/guitarist willing to compose
and sing the 'Ballad of John Robertson' (the way Bob
Dylan has done very successfully with
a several of his 'ballad' songs] * To investigate
Schools of Film and TV where
young students are often searching each
year for good stories to film [for their exams] * Protests held
at relevant places [geographically} for maximum
impact - street-theatre demonstrations telling the tale
- with actors dramatically clothed in 'costumes of
the law' the 'victim' [s] and the perjurer. * A theatre production
[experimental theatre] that could go
on at the avante-guarde small theatres equivalent to La
Mama Theatre here in Melbourne. You could write
the script or collaborate. * Begin writing a
novel of your story. * Do a prologue,
a brief outline for all the artists concerned - your story
condensed down to dramatic instances. A good
prologue is most important because it is quick way to present
to artists - for them to see how the story could be
dramatised. I will sleep on it
