The Beginning

In 1961 my manufacturing business was damaged by a price fixing cartel .FR Fisher QC represented me, and won, at a High Court Hearing in 1973.

Meanwhile, in 1971 my business, JR Export, was listed in the Commonwealth’s Report on Export Consultants by Panel 38 as a specialist export consultant for selected products in the US market. In 1976 Fisher represented one of my exporting clients, Greenslade, in a Taxation Board of Review Case and lost after his opposing barrister, Matheson, deceived the Board and all others, by pretending to read when he was ad-libbing. Matheson’s Deception changed the course of history and is the only reason this page is here for you to read.

In 1978 a partner of FR Fisher QC, Robert Lawson QC, was paid by me and about 80 other exporters, and lost for us by withdrawing at a Supreme Court of South Australia Appeal against the Greenslade Taxation Board of Review Decision. Both of the Court Hearings are on the Internet.

The Lawson withdrawn Appeal is particularly interesting as I only found it by fluke in November 2003, and by tying all events together, it provides a model for Highly Effective Law Reform. Several of the 1970’s players have died but Lawson was then a young man and is now at the height of his career as he aspires to be South Australia’s next Attorney General. Lawson’s withdrawal also changed the course of history.

Besides the Court Hearings, Lawson is in another Internet Case, an Administrative Appeals Tribunal Hearing of Robert Semmens’ tax appeal. The chickens have come home to roost for Hon Robert Lawson QC.

Highly Effective Law Reform would have ALL court documents and voice recordings on the Internet so that we would not need flukes to bring the ‘players’ at Court Hearings to public scrutiny… when that happens that will be the pivotal change in the course of history.
